Opening in the fall of 2025, Libertas Academy Colleton will be the first ever, tuition-free, public charter school in Colleton County. In year one, we will serve grades 4K-6th, adding one grade per year, until we eventually serve grades 4K-8. We have three sister schools across South Carolina. The first being Libertas Academy Boiling Springs. The second is Greenwood Charter Academy and finally Cherokee Charter Academy, which is currently the top-performing public school in Cherokee County. We plan to bring that same level of success to Colleton County.
