November Principal's Corner

Libertas Academy Colleton Principal's Corner: November Edition

School Highlights
From meaningful field trips to acts of service, November reminded us what it looks like to learn, grow, and care for one another. Our 4th graders enjoyed an enriching visit to the local library, exploring new books, meeting librarians, and diving deeper into their love of reading. First grade had a wonderful adventure at Bee City Zoo, where students learned about animals, habitats, and the beauty of nature up close.

We're also incredibly grateful for the outpouring of generosity during our food donation drive. Thank you to every family who contributed. Your kindness helps support our broader community and teaches our students the power of giving.

As we move into the holiday season, we remain thankful for the continued partnership and support of our families.

Core Virtue: Generosity & Hospitality
Our core virtues this month were generosity and hospitality, reminding students to give freely and make others feel welcome. This month, we celebrate Liam for showing true generosity and hospitality. When a new student joined our school, Liam welcomed her with kindness by showing her where to sit, sharing his falcon tokens from his bracelet, and reassuring her that she would love it here at Libertas. Small moments like these have a lasting impact, and we are proud to honor Liam for leading with heart.

Lost & Found
Our Lost & Found is filling up quickly. If your child is missing jackets, lunchboxes, water bottles, or sweaters, please stop by and take a look. We want to make sure items make their way back home before the season gets colder. All unclaimed belongings will be donated to our local Goodwill.
